Forum Schlossplatz in the "Haus zum Schlossgarten"

The Forum Schlossplatz is a cultural centre which unites different genres. Every year it runs three or four theme exhibitions on cultural issues of the past, present and future, which are accompanied by events and guided tours. The Forum Schlossplatz, a project of the local citizen’s community of Aarau, is located in the historic "Haus zum Schlossgarten" (House in the Castle Garden), which was the residence of the government of the Helvetic Republic in 1798 – and Switzerland’s first Federal Assembly building.
