Aarau Open-Air Theatre in front of the Aarau Schlössli

Every summer since 1998 for one whole month, the field in front of the Aarauer Schlössli has been turned into an open-air stage where amateur theatre performers from the Aarau Open-Air Theatre passionately take to the stage. Popular, entertaining plays like "The Visit", "Clothes Make the Man" or "Around the World in 80 Days" are performed here. The audience can also enjoy the performance from a covered platform and enjoy the culinary delights of the "Theaterbeizli" restaurant before the show and during the interval.
